OMS-820 Companion Module

I got an OMS-820 PCB from Krisp1 and built it with no modifications.  This is an old module but I always wanted one for my MOTM-820.

I adapted the FrontPanelExpress design file with additional details such as tic marks and rectangles around the switches.  I also moved the LEDs down which requires the leads to be bent to fit the PCB. I use momentary toggle switches (press down) instead of push buttons as they are easier to operate on a vertical surface.

LFO Mode

This scope image shows a maximum frequency of 724 Hz in linear mode.

This scope image shows a maximum frequency of 654 Hz in log mode.

Attack Decay Mode (AD)

This scope image shows the Gated AD mode where the output will attack to +5 volts and then decay as long as the gate remains true.  Note that reset has no affect.

This scope image shows the same Gated AD mode where the output is truncated by the gate going false.  Again reset has no affect.

This scope image shows the Resettable AD mode where a gate pulse will start the attack-decay cycle (one shot mode).

This scope image shows the same Resettable AD mode where the gate starts the attack cycle and reset pulse truncates and starts the decay cycle.

Attack Release Mode (AR)

This scope image shows the Gated AR mode where the gate starts the attack cycle and the output rises to +7.5 volts and remains until the gate goes false which starts the decay mode.  Note that reset has no affect.

This scope image shows the same Gated AR mode but the gate pulse is shorter than the attack so it truncates the cycle.

This scope image shows the Resettable AR mode where the gate starts the attack cycle and the output rises to +7.5 volts and remains until a reset starts the decay cycle.

This scope image shows the same Resettable AR mode where the gate starts the attack cycle and a reset pulse during the attack truncates and starts the decay cycle.
