The 3022 is a simple binary divider for audio or control voltages
This description comes from the Series 3000 Modular Synthesizer Instructions Manual.
The PCB is mounted to the panel with the banana jacks. I had removed the PCB as part of the modification so the jacks have been added in this photo.
I have added wires to the PCB for the upgrade to 3.5mm jacks.
Operation
Operation is straightforward. The input is biased a bit positive and the threshold appears to be around 400 mV or so. A 500 mV unipolar signal was high enough amplitude for reliable triggering.
3.5mm Modification
I converted this module to 3.5mm jacks. Since banana jacks aren't normalled, I didn't normal the input jack. I made a bracket to mount the PCB by the banana jack holes and the bracket thickness precluded the customary washer under the right two jacks. I used Switchcraft 35PM1 3.5mm jacks.
I made this bracket to mount the PCB.
